Joanne Done
Joanne Done was born in Chester and grew up in North Wales. She studied English and History at Staffordshire University and achieved Qualified Teacher Status at Westminster College, Oxford. Her writing has appeared in journals, magazines and in the Guardian. She lives and works near Oxford, running a tutoring business to support students in English Language and Literature. She has recently been granted the award of Master of Fine Arts, with Distinction, at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her first novel, Island, is being considered for publication. She is married, with three children.
