Mark Valentine’s short stories have been collected most recently in The Nightfarers (Ex Occidente Press) and The Mascarons of the Late Empire & Other Studies (Ex Occidente Press), and his series of tales about an occult detective was recently assembled as The Collected Connoisseur (Tartarus Press, with John Howard). He lives in North Yorkshire with his wife Jo and their cat Percy.
